The qualifying score changes each year because it is based on the top 1% of students who take the test. The maximum score possible on PSAT/NMSQT is 1520. For more information on interpreting a PSAT score, visit our blog! The PSAT is primarily used as a practice test for the SAT. A “good” SAT score differs from university to university.
