    The GRE

    The GRE is administered by the College Board and is a requisite for most graduate degree programs. The GRE has three different sections: the verbal section, the mathematical section and the analytical section. The verbal and mathematical sections are scored on scale of 200-800 and the analytical on a scale of 0 – 6. Read more about the GRE go to the ETS or to Wikipedia.

    The GRE, whether fair or not, is one of the most important factors for getting into the Master's program of your choice. Besides acceptance, a good GRE score can also qualify you for scholarships and financial aid. Each university has different expectations of the GRE score – that information can typically be found by visiting the university's web site.
