More Than A Teacher is now offering college counseling! We understand how confusing and overwhelming the college admissions process can be for any family. We offer a couple of solutions to help demystify this process and to alleviate undue anxiety.

Seminars

We offer one hour informational college seminars at least once a month. Our most popular seminar is College 101. It covers the entire process from test taking to selecting a college to creating a successful application. Other, more specific seminars will be offered on a rotating basis. Topics such as Act vs SAT, Financial Aid and scholarships, The UT system and Texas schools etc.

All seminars are $49.00 per family.

Individual College Counseling

Maybe you need a personal plan or some specific issues addressed. We also offer individual college counseling by the hour. Unlike our competitors, we will not make you sign up for a package of counseling hours that may not really fit your needs. At More Than A Teacher our College counselors will work with your family for as many or as few hours as you need. In a single appointment we can evaluate your needs and come up with a plan of action. After that it is up to you and your family to decide how much help you will need to complete the process.
