SAT/PSAT Refund Policy
More Than A Teacher guarantees an increase of at least 100 points on the SAT (10 points on the PSAT) to any student who fulfills the requirements of the PSAT/SAT course. The score increase will be based on a student's highest previous score on a PSAT (the SAT equivalent score) or SAT. In the case of a PSAT to PSAT score, we guarantee a total increase of 10 points between all three sections.  The refund amount is pro-rated based on the amount of the score increase.  For example, if the score goes up 60 points, then the student is refunded 40% of the registration cost for the 40-point deficit.  Refunds are limited to no more than the cost of registration.
The student must accomplish the following to be eligible for this refund:

• Attend all classes and do all in-class work.
• Do all homework assignments (approximately 30-45 minutes for each class).
• Attend at least one More Than A Teacher administered practice test.
• Ensure that their attendance sheet is completed and filled out by the last class day.

Any student not completely satisfied with his or her score may repeat the course at no additional cost except $20 for materials if new materials are desired.
There are no other guarantees associated with this program.

ACT. GRE, ISEE, SSAT, SAT: Subject Test, Subject Tutoring, Partial Test Prep Refund Policy
There are no refund policies associated with any tutoring or test prep that is either: 1) for a test other than the SAT or PSAT or 2) partial/single section.

Cancellation policy
More Than A Teacher charges a $50 cancellation fee per student.  On the date a student’s course starts, tuition becomes non-refundable.  In the event of a scheduling conflict, any course enrollment can be rescheduled or delayed to a later session without penalty.

Late registration/Missed classes
There will be no prorating or refunds given due to late registration or missed classes. Each student is encouraged to make up any missed classes at another location or in a future round. Students may also purchase individual tutoring appointments to make up missed classes.  As a last resort, students may make up one class during our published optional workshop times.

 More Than A Teacher does not share any personal client information with other companies that would use it for marketing.

You have the right to “opt-in” and “opt-out” of certain of our uses of your Personal Information.  For example, on this Web Site, you may be able to elect to or not to receive correspondence from us for communication and marketing purposes.  To opt out, you can also send an e-mail to info@morethanateacher.com.  In this e-mail, please say whether: (i) you would like to opt-out of receiving all e-mail promotional correspondence from More Than A Teacher in general or (ii) if you would only like to opt-out of certain type of More Than A Teacher’s e-newsletters or correspondence and if so which ones.  You may also opt-out of More Than A Teacher’s promotional e-mails by clicking on an opt-out link within the e-mail you receive.

Please understand that if you opt-out of receiving promotional correspondence from us, we may still contact you in connection with your relationship, activities, transactions and communications with us.

Information Collected on this Web Site 

User-Provided Information

We may collect Personal Information from users, for example, through such users’ activities, transactions and completion of surveys and other online forms on our Web Site. 
Because some of our most useful services are personalized (i.e., different visitors may have a different experience based on information they provide), registration for such services may be required (although not all areas of our Web Site require registration).

You may be able to send information about our Web Site, products and services to your friends and family members by clicking on an “E-mail to Friend” or similar button on our Web Site or in one of our e-mails.  In some of these cases (unless you simply forward our e-mail on your own), you may provide the name and e-mail address of your friend or family member to us, and such information will be treated in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

From time to time, we obtain lists of people who may be interested in our products and services from third-party marketing list suppliers. We may use “cookies” to keep, and sometimes track, information about you, and to create a personalized Web experience.  Cookies are small data files that are stored on your computer's hard drive.  Cookies track where you travel on our Web Site and what you look at and purchase.

More Than A Teacher will take steps to protect the security and integrity of all sensitive Personal Information provided to us.  However, due to the inherent nature of the Internet as an open global communications vehicle, we cannot guarantee that information, during transmission through the Internet or while stored on our system or otherwise in our care, will be safe from intrusion by others, such as hackers.

If you contact us by e-mail or a “contact us” or similar feature on our Web Site, your transmission might not be secure.  A third party could view information you send by these methods in transit.

You may be able to create an account on our Web Site with a username and password.  If so, you are responsible for protecting your account password, and you are responsible for any access to or use of the Web Site by you or any person or entity using your password, whether or not such access or use has been authorized by or on behalf of you.
