MORE THAN A TEACHER began with one UT math major teaching small groups of high school kids how to attack the SAT and has grown into Austin’s largest and most popular SAT/ACT preparation academy. Serving more than 1500 Austin area students every year in ten locations, MORE THAN A TEACHER is now run by three career high school teachers who have crafted SAT and ACT classroom courses that are both effective and engaging.

Many, if not most, of our students are referred to us by school counselors, friends who’ve taken the class, or even older siblings who are off at the college of their choice. MORE THAN A TEACHER is an Austin based business focused on meeting the needs of the Austin community.
